What a treat this was to hear this short play by Gareth Ekin read during a recent playwright Zoom session. Seasoned married couples will connect with this husband and wife duo as they prepare for the evening. The banter is realistic and loaded with sharp humor. I love the the wife has ALL the details, and the husband steps right into trouble when asked that classic question, "How do I look?" Audiences will truly enjoy this two-hander.

Colorful characters, bathroom humor, and fabulous opportunities for performers - This piece has it all. Audiences will be charmed by this ghostly Aussie.

I had the pleasure of reading for Ashley in our weekly playwright's group... and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Audiences are sure to enjoy the artful play between Ashley and Jason, but it just may be the two stage hands that make the show... and the lamp and stick. A PURE DELIGHT about art and love.

If any playwright has the voice of the film noir genre, it's George Sapio. This playful piece twists and turns the genre with its numerous cleve4r puns, purposeful cliches, and an all female cast that is sure to please audiences. SAPIO'S poetic use of language is a true treat for readers and audiences.

I can't tell you how many times I heard the phrase, "but, he’s a good boy" from mothers of a troubled boy while I taught high school. DC CATHRO has written a brilliantly accurate short play about education... both at school and at home. The dialogue sharp and realistic. The emotions are raw and outrageous. We need more Mr. Robinsons in the world.

I was honored to hear this performed at our weekly playwriting ZOOM session. What a powerful piece that will have audiences talking about war, loss, and the ultimate price... the long-term results on our soldiers.
