  • Debra A. Cole: A Man in Uniform: A Monologue

Out of the gate with a BAM in the first sentence! This hilarious monologue is surprising, hilarious, and perfect. What a refreshing piece. And the ending? Ha!

  • Debra A. Cole: Stiff Competition

What a perfectly macabre short play that kept me on my toes… I should be grateful I still have toes, right? As a former educator, this was not where I saw this delightful piece going, and I was thrilled with the outcome.

  • Debra A. Cole: Bear With Me

LOVE THE STAGING! This charming piece settles an old grudge by way of new friends. RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS is an absolute genius when it comes to natural dialogue between characters. Audiences of all ages will love this short play.

  • Debra A. Cole: Thin End

A charming coming of age play set in the revolutionary 1960s. MCGREGOR brings boyhood, tradition, and new attitudes to life in this wonderful short piece. I would love to see this expanded to a full length with his wonderful characters and so many interesting possibilities ahead of them

  • Debra A. Cole: My Pandemic Life

I had the pleasure of hearing this read during a Gulf Coast Playwright's Circle. Life is really hard for the this pandemic fearing, white, male, cisgendered, male playwright. He's alone is a houseful of WOKE family members. A fun piece about a time that we hope to not visit again... but probably will with these darn "superspreaders." But as the piece reminds us, love will win.

  • Debra A. Cole: Star Light, Star Bright

Star Light, Star Bright is a truly charming piece for all ages. Whether on a stage, as a best-selling children's book, or the perfect cartoon short - THIS PIECE DELIVERS all the feels. The message is clear, we all find ourselves at different rates, but the wait is worth it when the outcome is true and full of love and light. BRAVO, Rachel! Your pieces bring such joy to audiences and readers.

  • Debra A. Cole: The Fourth Understudy

I had the pleasure of hearing this diabolically PERFECT piece performed at the weekly gathering of Literary and Discourse Society. RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS has such a beautiful gift for bringing characters to life... especially when they are so... evil. LOVED IT!

  • Debra A. Cole: Neighbours - A Script In A Day

It is a painful coming of age moment when fathers are no longer heroes, once their sons see them for who they really are... and the choices they made in life. This is a sobering look at choices in horrible times.

  • Debra A. Cole: The Top Seed and the Poor Seedlings

I had the pleasure of hearing this performed at our weekly playwright’s group, Literary Discourse Society. REX’s plays are always sharp, witty, and thoughtful, and this piece is no exception. A wonderful piece for any short play festival.
