  • Debra A. Cole: Making Herself Comfortable - A Script In A Day

I wish this play felt further back on the timeline that it actually is! JOSEPHS gives us a private view into the outrageous boys' club of unions past... and sometimes present.

  • Debra A. Cole: The Plume

I had the pleasure of seeing this wonderful piece at the KC Fringe Festival tonight. RICE has a created a world that is full of tension, justifications, and appropriate blame. A strong piece that will have audiences talking - I suspect many will produce it as the years go on.

  • Debra A. Cole: Everything in its place

What a lovely short play about old things we treasure and new things that capture our fancy. One can't help but see the connections between these inanimate items and the strong human journey of aging, adjusting, transforming, and organizing.

  • Debra A. Cole: Virgins

What a beautiful interaction between two sisters who couldn't be more different. The dialogue felt personal an authentic. I adore how SCOTT SICKLES strings words together to make art.

  • Debra A. Cole: SUPER ... NATURAL ( a one minute monologue )

What a sharp one minute monologue. A great piece for a seasoned actress.

  • Debra A. Cole: Burying Elephants (15 min.)

The last few moments of a love that probably shouldn't have ever been - the banter between the two actresses is sharp, pointed, and very telling. There certainly is a very large elephant that should have been addressed earlier. I would love to see this staged.

  • Debra A. Cole: Potato Salad with Raisins (Monologue)

So much pain. So much death. So much food. This monologue brings one mother's outrage to life after losing her children to senseless violence. BRAVO!

  • Debra A. Cole: Imaginary Friends (ten-minute play)

What a beautiful and well-written short play. Sometimes it takes a voice from our past to remind us what is important in our present... and for our future. This piece has real heart.

  • Debra A. Cole: Étude (Ten Minute Play)

A life centered around creation is filled with doubt, worry, imposer syndrome, and envy of others who surely don't go through what YOU go through. MARCIA EPPICH-HARRIS finds a beautiful way to make this angst feel familiar in this lovely short piece. What a wonderful piece for two actors to explore.

  • Debra A. Cole: Cupid Retires to Palm Beach, Florida

Cupid is my new hero! We all must fight until there is no fight left in us. LAWING creates the ultimate character who understands true love - in whatever form it presents itself.
