  • Debra A. Cole: Eighty-One

What a beautiful short play about the love between father and daughter and the tough decisions made for both of them during the pandemic. Using a cell phone as the catalyst, fears are shared, truths are told, and reality is reached. Audiences will love this tender piece whether quarantining or not.

  • Debra A. Cole: Domestic Help

An absurdist's dream short play. Easy to stage. Colorful costumes. Wonderfully written characters...and children...so many crying children. Audiences would LOVE this piece.

  • Debra A. Cole: DEATH IS A BUMMER

A fun and tension filled short play for young actors. There is true magic in pieces about growing up and making decisions, although this decision is a little different than most. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Way to go, Jack!

  • Debra A. Cole: Crack

Dark. Funny, Surprising. This short piece has just enough of the macabre and just enough relationship tension to keep audiences on the edge of their seat.

  • Debra A. Cole: Towel's It Hangin'?

HYSTERICAL! What a wonderful voice of an overworked, underpaid, and quite frankly, bored cruise line worker during the dark days of cruise travel and COVID. This would be wonderful in front of an audience.

  • Debra A. Cole: All About The Base

CLINT BRAMKAMP has written a fast paced and smart two-hander that certainly plays out in real life with many political candidates these days. Sharp dialog and male certainty creates a scenario that many will recognize.

  • Debra A. Cole: Bread and Brie

I adore couples that know each other's secrets. DEBBIE LAMEDMAN has created a delightful back and forth between the characters of Rita and Fred. We all know Rita. We all know Fred. Now we just have to discover if it is the bread or the cheese causing the issues. LOVELY!

  • Debra A. Cole: Plentitude

I was lucky to hear this read during a Sunday gathering of playwrights. JOHN PATRICK BRAY has created a fascinating world that plays on many levels: body issues, eating disorders, religion, sibling relationships, academia, The Berlin Wall, and Batman VHS tapes. BRAY nails the complicated dynamic of family as he guides his characters through the 1980s. This would be so cool to see staged.
