What a hoot it was to play one of the brilliant characters in this short play by RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS at our Sunday playwriting group. RACHEL does what she does best here...She introduces us to colorful characters, adds in a bit of evasion, grows the tension naturally, then brings it all home is the most satisfying way possible. PERFECT.

What an absolutely lovely story! We had the pleasure of reading this at a weekly playwright's group, and everyone was completely charmed. Any grandfather would be proud to have CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE bring his stories of WW2 to life. The characters are handled with real tenderness as they make their way through a violent world. Modern flying machines next to new life about to take flight... just beautiful.

What a pleasure it was to hear this reading at our weekly Sunday reading. ALICE has the gift of bringing history or folklore into the modern age with familiar characters along side new characters in fascinating situations. I would love to visit this French hamlet... or would I?

I adore the writing of RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS, and her newest full-length piece, FAMILY HISOTRY, will have audiences on the edge of their seats. A master of family tension and secrets, RACHEL has crafted a delicious world of drama and mystery set in the heart of the American midwest. The banter between the siblings is truly sublime. The relationship with the grandmother is perfection. Additional characters round out a cast that will keep everyone guessing. BRAVA.

THIS PIECE IS BRILLIANT! I went through so many emotions while engaging with this delightful and thought provoking piece by JOHN BUSSER. Witty dialogue - "human" experiences - touching interactions. MAN'S NEXT FRIEND needs to be produced... right away. Any actress would have a field day bringing Daisy to "life."

PRICELESS! THIS needs to be staged. Audiences will love the witty banter as well as the delightful and delicious ending. LONG LIVE THE GRETEL SCOUTS! How do I become a member?

LOVED IT! The dialogue felt authentic and quickly brought me into the the characters relationship and the moment at hand. THANK YOU, LEE LAWING for writing a piece that makes audience reconsider the idea of family.

I am a sucker for Cold War pieces, and Alice Josephs delivers in this short, yet powerful memory play. The juxtaposition of two couples is the perfect vehicle for a then and now moment. Add in delightful humor, and audiences will be thoroughly entertained with this glance into history and the clues that are left for us to discover.

This piece of history… with a little fun added by Rex McGregor… is wonderful. The drama. The ego. The surprises. Audiences will love this short piece.
