  • Debra A. Cole: While We Still Can

What a beautiful short play about risk, hope, community, and the best and worst of humanity. Centered around a small town, a storm, and those who did or didn't support a levee, CAM EICKMEYER has written a powerful piece about choices.

  • Debra A. Cole: Waiting for the Guy (A Stop-n-Go Story)

We all handle stress and trauma differently. Some do hot yoga. Some drink a little more than they should. Others, sit on a bench with a friend in a park and wait for their weed dealer. September 11, 2001's events have spurred power plays that explore the results of the unfathomable actions of that day. SAMANTHA OTY's WAITING FOR THE GUY gives us a short play with all the layers a thoughtful writer creates: wicked humor, horrendous tragedy, and painful fallout.

  • Debra A. Cole: Filet O Fish

Hilarious. I love passionate characters and LUCY WANG certainly has created one here in her monologue FILET O FISH. Any actor would have a blast bringing this ode to the Lenten fast food favorite to life on stage.

  • Debra A. Cole: Love Trap

DANA HALL gives us the cold hard truth about love in her brilliant monologue LOVE TRAP. Is love really a "biochemical con artist with a playlist and a seductive smile?" DANA asks audiences to consider the part of love no one talks about... well, at least not before getting a joint Costco account. Some of us are incredibly lucky to find love that lasts beyond the song, but for others, the trap is real and hopefully worth the ride. Any actor would be lucky to bring this thoughtful piece to life.

  • Debra A. Cole: What If You Stayed

What a fabulous radio drama. SAM HEYMAN has found just the right words to bring this beautiful story of past, present, and what ifs to life for audiences. The richness of the narrator's inner monologue is pure poetry as he walks us through the town that has made him, judged him, and at times... quenched him. ELLIS is a unique voice that screams to be heard. What a poignant world SAM has created for us.

  • Debra A. Cole: Dear Satan

I get it is, girl... I misspell things sometimes too.

I loved how Walter became more and more visible to the audience as the piece unfolded through JENNIFER RAMSEY's vivid and hilarious storytelling. This would be the perfect monologue for ANY AGE! Just delightful.

  • Debra A. Cole: Neighborly

What a read. DAVID HODGES' psychological thriller NEIGHBORLY is a vivid ride through word play, ownership, and manipulation. HODGES gives audiences a reminder of how fragile the human mind and belief system is when pushed to limits. Limits we though were there to protect us but ultimately just left us vulnerable.

  • Debra A. Cole: All Too HumAIn

BRILLIANT! Humans are strange. Plant a little doubt in their brains, and stand back.... chaos. JOHN BUSSER has done what he ALWAYS DOES in his plays - gives audiences something to really think about in a clever and thoughtful way. AUDIENCES WILL LOVE THIS!

  • Debra A. Cole: You love who you love: A monologue

Beautiful. Raising a healthy, well-adjusted, and confident child is every parent's goal. The parents in this monologue has raised so much more. They raised a healthy, well-adjusted, confident, and brave young lady that is sure to continue making them proud even if some of the world is still lost.
